Here is a solid red oak whiskey shelf that is 49.5" long. It is designed to be mounted to a wall. The inside dimensions of the storage area for the single shelf is 47" by 3-5/8". The shelf has been treated with Teak Oil and coated with semi-gloss lacquer.
There are six mount points: one in the middle (top and bottom) and two more pairs 16" both sides from the middle to aline with wall studs. Six mounting screws will be included.

This whiskey shelf is very rigid. It uses dado connections and dial rods to hold everything together. The mount plates are glued and screwed in from the back.
